After the War of Greed, which swept through the entire solar system like a fiery hurricane and brought down the entire space economy of mankind, there was an urgent need to quickly produce a huge number of cheap and easy-to-operate transport ships, relying only on the surviving production facilities of the Empire and the expertise of the few remaining loyal Corporations. The result of this collaboration was a project with a not very romantic, but quite appropriate name Dromedary. Severe post-war restrictions led to a technical downgrade not only of this, but of many subsequent engineering projects, especially in the field of propulsion systems. In particular, it was decided to abandon the already standard fusion propulsion system, returning to the now obsolete fission system, making all kinds of improvements and modifications to it in the process.The head of this ship is a spacious frame, which by default holds a huge universal container for transporting almost any cargo.On both sides of the frame, advanced solar panels are placed in parallel for additional power supply and an alternative energy source in case of a reactor accident. Another side of the frame is reserved for a powerful communications hub, capable of not only guaranteeing long-range communications, but also powerful enough to bypass potential interference caused by debris fields, radioactive dust and other consequences of space war.Also behind the communication node was placed a small nuclear reactor, fuel tanks and a radiator, ensuring the functioning of four small bow nuclear engines.The remaining side houses the ship's command module, as well as a secondary communications system.An interesting feature of this section is that the command center is placed on a rotating base and is able to rotate along one axis. While this was clearly not a necessary detail, many believe that this change was made purely for aesthetic purposes by the corporate engineers, so that when this section was included in the corporate designs, the vertical profile of their ships could be retained. Almost the last symbol of defiance in the face of the victorious Empire.Be that as it may, as a result of this forced collaboration of the once warring parties, one of the most successful designs of a civilian cargo ship was created.
