Description

Aqua (EOS PM-1) is a multi-national NASA scientific research satellite in orbit around the Earth, studying the precipitation, evaporation, and cycling of water. It is the second major component of the Earth Observing System (EOS) preceded by Terra (launched 1999) and followed by Aura (launched 2004). (Source Wikipedia)

A highly-detailed and accurate model of the Aqua satellite, this model was created in 3D Studio Max 2016 with Vray 3.60.03 and a basic setup is included in the scene. Some of the preview renders were captured from Substance Painter where the materials were created.

The model is setup with Vray materials that end up in a multi-sub-material, all uniquely unwrapped for best resolution and flexibility. Textures are 4K resolution per piece, featuring Diffuse, Glossiness, Height, IOR, Normal and Reflection

Exports of FBX, ABC and OBJ are also included, as well as a quick render sequence.
