This planet generator allows you to generate an earth like planet to your liking then either rendering that with a cloud and atmosphere shader or you can export the different texture maps of the planet to be used in another project or other software, even games.
Video showing some features of the shader: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkBPmVR_yoI&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=RowanSteyn3D
You can render up to 64k texture maps, after that my blender crashed, if you have a lot of ram or v-ram you might be able to go higher.
Biomes included in the file and shader;
Beach, Grasslands, Forest, Farms, Marshlands, Rivers, Canyons, Deserts, Glaciers, Snowy, Mountains, Rocky, Town, City, Megacity, Industrial, Dead/Irradiated, Craters, Volcanos and Magma Fields.
These biomes can be all found separately on the second layer in the file, you can use any of these textures in other projects.
Notes: This is very hard on your GPU if you just want to export the texture maps it is quite easy to run but if you want to do renders using the clouds and atmosphere i would recommend at least a 1060 GPU.
I have tested this in Blender 2.91 to 3.0
Optix render is recommended but it works with Cuda too.
The camera is set to panoramic so you can get the 360 texture maps for spheres, so if you want to take renders change the view type to perspective.
By default the clouds and atmosphere are not visible and you can turn them on in the outliner (top right)
NOTE: The .blend file is the only one with the procedural shader, the other files are simply scene object files
