Photorealistic Moon with 27K textures 3D model

Hi there,

this is a high quality planet model which can be used for professional documentaries or movies. It is a more advanced version than the approaches you find in most tutorials to this topic. This model doesn´t have a disturbing pinching in the poles and can be used from every angle. The stars in the background are also included.

In the downloads is also a 16K Version for less memory usage and faster render times.

The scene is made in Blender 3.3. The download contains everything you see in the pictures.

Textures are packed in the file so that you only have to download the file and have everything you need.

Scene is made for the Cycles Render Engine.

NOTE: I recommend to have at least 32GB of RAM due to heavy/detailed geometry and textures and the use of Adaptive Subdivisions. Polygons and Vertices are more in the final render than in the preview (what is stated) due to the Subdivisions and also depends on the camera position. So be aware that it takes some time to calculate before it renders.

If you get a RAM Error i would try the following things (alone or together):

1. Make sure you have closed all other applications and programs who are running in the background.
2. Update to the latest Blender Version.
3. Deactivate Persistent Data in the Render Settings.
4. Reduce the Dicing Scale of the Adaptive Subdivisions.
5. Use Blenders Simplify Option to reduce Texture Sizes etc.
6. Reduce the Render Resolution.
7. If nothing helped you could switch to CPU Rendering but be aware that a CPU renders normally much slower than the GPU.
