photorealistic earth 3D model

this is a photorealistic model of earth. it was created in blender 2.82 and can be rendered with both cycles and eevee. when rotatig the sun, the illumination will only be visible on the dark side of the planet, though you can tweak the settings in the shader editor by changing the values of the color ramp. the clouds cast shadow on the planet, as well as high mountains.
