Fictional Gas Giant Planet with Moon

Jupiter-like gas giant with a cloudy moon. The planet´s surface was mainly created with satellite images of Jupiter, but shows different structures in slightly different colours and three major spots (storms). The back side shows only storm bands. A blue arora is visible at both poles. You can change the apearance totally by using a color filter on the diffuse channel in Your 3D software or changing the atmosphere colour. You can use these textures to generate a whole set of different gas giants. Model is for c4d. Exchange files and all textures are included. The textures are of course for spherical mapping.

The images were rendered with default renderer in Cinema4D. The planet and the moon are just native perfect spheres. They each have a second sphere around it with a fresnel atmosphere.
