A highly detailed 3D model of the NASA Apollo 11 Astronaut Bubble Helmet.
The helmet was modeled using various reference images available online.
The helmet bounding box dimensions are approximately 30cm x 34cm x32cm.
Blend file:
The model has 34 separate objects with 5 main empty contained collections in the blend file; bubble, headrest, feedport, valsalva device and the neck ring.
The valsalva and feedport devices are detachable from the helmet.
The entire helmet uses 3 4k-8bit png texture sets, set up in three UDIM tiles in the blend file.
The textures, hdri and blend file are zipped in one folder.
UVs are non-overlapping except for the vent spacers and velcro strips.
One material is used to connect the 3 texture sets.
The preview images are rendered in Blender Cycles with active subdivision modifiers except the velcro strips.
