This is my version of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from Star Wars (A New Hope).It is based on the Graflex flashgun like the original prop however I have included a crystal chamber and battery/electronics compartment which also contains a recharge port.The chamber was based on ones I have seen on the internet mainly slothfurnace's ones, but is adapted to my tastes and the saber that I have already built.The circuit card in the back is based on the size of the "crystal focus CF-LS V6.5" by Plector Labs although I don't own one yet.Check out their web pages here: http://www.slothfurnace.com/and here: http://www.plecterlabs.com/Or mine here: http://users.chariot.net.au/~darkrider/Even though I have already built this lightsaber, I have yet to build the crystal chamber, maybe one day when I get time :)The model has therefore not been tested if you intend to build one! so check twice, modify if required and cut once.The chamber should be able to fit into just about any home made lightsaber if it has a hollow section of the correct diameter.Please note that the igs, stp and stl files are of the overall assembly.The inventor files only contain all of the individual parts.
