Canadian Space Agency single stage sounding rocket.
The single stage Black Brant V first flew in 1963. Two variants commonly flew were the VB (three fin) and VC (four fin) variants. Though the BB V carried a smaller payload, it was able to reach altitudes nearing 400km. Additionally the BB V motor was used as the booster stage for the Black Brant IV sounding rocket.
