3D Pipes Procedural ScreenSaver - Windows 3D model

This asset features a python script that can procedurally generate the famous 3d pipes from Windows screensaver.

Parameters can be altered to your preference. They include:

• PIPE_RADIUS = 0.2
• PIPE_STEP = 1
• RECT_BOUNDS = (8, 5, 5)
• NUM_PIPES = 300
• SEGMENTS_PER_COLOR = 15
• ANIMATION_DURATION = 30
• FPS = 30

How to use:

1. Open the .blend file
2. Choose the 'Scripting' window on top
3. Press Run on the script to generate random pipe animation each time.
4. Press Play on the Animation Tab (By default it is a 30s animation).
5. Render or export as desired.

Note that the video from the vimeo preview was screen recorded directly on Blender, the reason for the low fps.
