A high quality 3D model of a Wind turbine electrical generator.
This is a model of a three-bladed horizontal axis wind turbine (HAWT); a device that converts the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy, and utilises aerodynamic blades (i.e. airfoils) fitted to a rotor, which can be positioned either upwind or downwind. Wind turbines are an increasingly important source of intermittent renewable energy, and are used in many countries to lower energy costs and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Smaller wind turbines are used for applications such as battery charging and remote devices such as traffic warning signs. Larger turbines can contribute to a domestic power supply while selling unused power back to the utility supplier via the electrical grid. Our model isn't specific for either size, therefore it could be used to represent both types.
The model is great to use in your games, films as CGI, VR, or animations. It's low poly but holds enough detail to place into a scene for a realistic CGI element.
Technical Specifications:
File Formats: MB, MA, OBJ, FBX, STL, VRSCENE
Other than Autodesk Maya, file types (OBJ, FBX, STL, VRSCENE) include only standard materials without advanced shaders or materials. All textures are included.
Whether you're a student, educator, or designer aiming for simplicity in your projects, this Wind turbine electrical generator model serves as an accessible and valuable resource.
