Alanine molecule

Alanine molecule 3D model

Description

Alanine is an α-amino acid used in the biosynthesis of proteins with the formula C3H7NO2. It contains an amino group and a carboxylic acid group. It is non-essential in humans - because the body can synthesize it, it does not need to be present in the diet. There are two isomers:

  • D-(-)-alanine (CAS: 338-69-2)
  • L-(+)-alanine (CAS: 56-41-7)

Molecules are provided in three standard representations and includes a simulated electrostatic (van der Waals) surface. The whole model is provided as a C4D scene, all objects are editable primitives or metaball objects.

The .fbx, .stl and .obj files are exported from C4D R20 and are provided as is.
