A methylhexanamine (systematic name: 2-amino-4-methylhexane; formula: C7H17N; CAS: 105-41-9) molecule.

Methylhexanamine is commonly known as 1,3-dimethylamylamine (1,3-DMAA), 1,3-amphetamine or simply dimethylamylamine (DMAA). Developed as an inhaled nasal decongestant, it has been marketed as a stimulant or energy-boosting dietary supplement. It is banned by many sports authorities and governmental agencies.
