Dexamethasone (formula: C22H29FO5; CAS: 50-02-2) is a corticosteroid, used in the treatment of rheumatic problems, skin diseases, allergies, asthma and chronic obstructive lung disease. It may be taken by mouth, as an injection into a muscle, or intravenously. The effects last for about three days.
It has been shown to be effective in treating some severe cases of COVID-19. Treating hospitalised patients with dexamethasone has reduced mortality by up to 20%, the effect being strongest in patients requiring respirators.
This molecule is provided in three standard representations and includes a simulated electrostatic (van der Waals) surface. The whole model is provided as a C4D scene, all objects are editable primitives or metaball objects.
The .fbx, .stl and .obj files are exported from C4D R20 and are provided as is.
