Coumaphos (formula: C14H16ClO5PS; CAS: 56-72-4) is a phosphorothioate used to kills insects and mites. It is known by a variety of brand names (Coumaphos, Meldane, Asuntol, Azunthol, Muscatox, Agridip, Asuntol, Meldone, Resitox, etc) and used on farm and domestic animals as a dip or wash to control ticks, mites, flies and fleas. It is also used to control mites in honey bee colonies.
