Aspirin, (Formula: C9H8O4; CAS: 50-78-2; _AKA _: acetylsalicylic acid) is commonly used to treat pain, fever, or inflammation. Effects typically begin within 30 minutes. It is one of the most widely used medications globally and is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines.
