This sci-fi computer terminal game asset was created and procedurally textured entirely in Blender. Some of the early work in progress videos are on my YouTube channel.
It comprises of two objects, the main terminal and floor, and the screen. Decals for the screen were from www.vecteezy.com then edited together in Photoshop. Attribution links available at the bottom.
Features of the design include; a card reader mounted into the top, a front cabinet with wires behind a metal grill, a vent in the base of the unit, pipes and maintenance panels in the side of the unit. On the rear, two metal support girders cut into the body, as well as a large power cable plugged from the screen console to terminal base.
Textures have been baked into PBR maps comprising of; diffuse, metal, roughness, normal, emission and alpha for the terminal, and diffuse, roughness, normal for the screen. All are 4k resolution.
The asset could be used as a control for accessing a lab, launching a device, or firing experimental weapons. It's hard surface sci-fi look makes it an ideal environment piece for facilities or spaceships.
On the whole I really enjoyed making this piece and easily consider it one of my best.
Please note this product only includes the blue variant visible in the majority of renders. The colour variation render is purely for artistic purposes. This product consists of the blend file, obj and fbx. As well as all the textures for the model.
