The Appak Ishan mausoleum is an architectural monument of the late 19th century. It is located in the Baidibek district of the South Kazakhstan region. The structure is made of square fired bricks with a base size of 6.7 × 6.6 m (internal - 3.5x3.5 m) and a dome 6 m high. There are niches in the inner walls oriented to 4 cardinal points. There are two tombstones in the mausoleum: one is Appak Ishan, who built a mosque-madrassah in the village of Shayan, the other is the master who built the mausoleum.
