very good
One of the most famous ancient Egyptian work of art. The painted sculpture represent a man, seated, certainly a scribe. He is dressed in a white kilt and is holding a papyrus. It seems his right hand was holding a brush (we can see a space between his delicately modeled fingers). His face is very well detailled compared to his body. His cross-legged position should be his normal posture at work. He has a slightly overweight body that suggests he was wealthy and not used to to physical activities.
