A two-lane road made of old asphalt with cracks, some short grass along the edges. Created using a photo scan of a real object. About 1000 high-quality photos were used in the creation. High detail allows you to render the road up close, and a large length reduces the effect of tiling on wide frames.
The model is made using a seamless 16K material with displacement. The material is applied to any plane (road) with a width of about 7 meters and the corresponding UV with a tile size of 7x35 meters.
The density of the puddles is adjusted in the wet_mask_noise procedural map, the total wetness is adjusted through the spec_map intensity.
The actual size is 7x35 meters.
faces: 1600
Highly detailed seamless textures up to 4096x16384x:
Diffuse, Specular/Glossiness, Normal, AO, Displacement (PNG, EXR), Wetness
The .max file contains a customized Vray (Corona) PBR material with Displacement (5 cm), you can turn it off for distant shots.
System units: centimeters
**Puddles are made procedurally through the Noise map (do not have bitmap textures)**When importing from FBX make sure input gamma = 1 for all textures except Diffuse color.
*To maintain correct dimensions when importing from FBX for MAX 2016 and below, import FBX via the File/Import menu
*EXR 32-bit displacement map for finer detail.
