Old door 3D model

Model of the door of an abandoned old house in the municipality of Godall (Spain). The house was constructed using the traditional method, which employs mainly wooden beams on the ceilings and rocks on the walls, using mud to fix it all together.

Buildings were painted with whitewash in order to isolate and waterproof the structure. On of the most interesting features in the model are the diifferent layers of whitewash paint that can be spotted in several areas of the model. This layers give the feeling of the housed being used during a very long time.

3D scanned model using photogrammetry techniques. Pictures were taken with a DJI Osmo in an overcast day which helped avoiding hard shadows on the model. No postprocessing or retopology was applied after building the model.

The model is available in both OBJ and GLTF formats.
