3D capture method: Terrestrial photogrammetry
Equipment used: DSLR camera; 3D Reconstruction software: RealityCapture
Asset information: Remains of the edicule at the Necropolis of Santa Maria de Tejuela, Burgos, Spain. It is a large block of carved sandstone in the form of an irregular cube hollowed out inside. The structure has numerous notches and recesses from which it can be deduced that it was part of a complex building, not preserved today, which originally had an upper body and an attached building on the north side. It is speculated this building was used a center of power over the community, with potential residential, religious and funerary functions.
