Description

The 3D model is a 3D scan of a replica of jesus on the cross with Benedictine Medal background. The model is cleaned up and optimized in Zbrush. The letters are made in 3D prgram because it was not quite good enough from scan. Due to it’s a 3D model from scan its had it pros and cons. I made many pictured so you can examine the model. The model can be used for 3D rendering or as a reference for modeling and retopology. I think it is also suitable for 3D printing, but I didn´t test it.

Letters meaning on the medal.:

Stamped Letters on the cross: CSSML (Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux) and NDSMD (Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux which means). Meaning: May the holy cross be my light let not the devil be my guide

Letters Around the outer edge: VRSNSMV (Vade Retro Satana Nunquam Suade Mihi Vana) and SMQLIVB (Sunt Mala Quae Libas Ipse Venena Bibas). Meaning: Begone satan never suggest vain things to me, what you offer me is evil drink your own poison.

CSPB (Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti). Meaning: Cross of the holy father Benedict.
