A crowned head of Lajuwa, Ife style, who seized the throne of Ife after the death of Oni Aworo-kolokin. Encrusted oxidised patina of different layers. It features a highly stylized human head with closed eyes, full lips, and a broad nose. The head is adorned with an elaborate crown or headdress that includes intricate beadwork and a central, pointed ornament. The headdress is decorated with patterns of beads and what appears to be a feather or leaf-like element at the top. The forehead has a circular, raised design, possibly representing a mark of significance or royalty. The neck is elongated and stylized, adding to the regal appearance of the figure.
