Dead and chopped carob tree (Ceratonia silicua), a very common tree in Spain, the fruit of which is used in the food industry.
The carob tree is native to the Mediterranean region, including Southern Europe, Northern Africa, the larger Mediterranean islands, the Levant and Middle-East of Western Asia into Iran; and the Canary Islands and Macaronesia.
The model represents a dead and chopped down carob tree. Bark is already starting to peel and the trunk is starting to disintegrate.
This model was created using photogrammetry techniques. The photos were obtained with a DLSR Canon Camera in an overcast day in order to avoid strong shadows in the model. No post-processing or retopology was applied to the model.
The model is available in both OBJ and GLTF formats.
