Historical description of the coin:
This is a British One Penny coin from 1901 from the Victorian era.On the obverse (right side of the image) is a portrait of Queen Victoria with the inscription VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP (Victoria, by the Grace of God, Queen of Britain, Defender of the Faith, Empress of India).On the reverse (left side of the image) is a seated female figure of Britannia with a shield and trident, symbolizing Great Britain. The inscription ONE PENNY and the year 1901 are visible.The coin is made of bronze and appears to be in moderate condition with signs of natural patina. This is one of the last coins issued during Queen Victoria's reign, as she died in January 1901.
