Here's a small hand-painted flax bush, I tried to achieve a reasonable level of detail but possibly not appropriate for closeups, the .blend file has hooks attached to the tips of the leaves so you can easily adjust the shape of the bush. Essentially limitless variations with the models and the leaves are easily copied and adjusted to produce larger, better or more dense arrangements.
