Pampas grass or Cortadria is a plant from the wheat family and native to South America, especially Argentina. This plant lives for about 15 years and its roots can grow up to 3.5 meters. Pampas grass is found in different colors such as white, pink, purple and yellow. Due to its easy propagation and fast growth, this plant is known as an invasive weed in some countries. However, this plant is planted as an ornamental plant in many countries.
The height of pampas grass reaches 250 cm and its branches reach 120 cm. This plant begins to flower in early summer and these flowers remain even after the plant dries up. The leaves of this plant are long and narrow with sharp edges.
