EVERYPlant Medullosa Noei 5 LowPoly --12 Models--

EVERYPlant Medullosa Noei 5 LowPoly --12 Models-- Low-poly 3D model

Description

Name: Medullosa Noei

Period: Carboniferous-Early Permian. 320-293.5 Million Years Ago.

This Variation: 5 of 5. This is a LowPoly Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.

Notes: Extinct plant from the Carboniferous to the Permian Period. It appears to have preferred floodplains and swampy ground where it grew in the prehistoric forest sub-story. These plants were small to medium-sized trees with fern-like fronds for leaves. It has no living counterpart today though superficially it resembled a modern day tree-fern. This plant is noted for having very large seeds; this, along with the size of its pollen, has suggested to some scientists that some form of animal interventions was required to fertile and disperse the seeds. If so, then this is the earliest known instance of a plant-animal symbiosis. Fossils have been found in North America, Europe, parts of Asia and Oceania suggesting this plant had a wide range.

Included in this Package: 12 models in total

  1. Standard -- 18,527 polygons, 25,967 vertices, 3.86m tall. Fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
  2. Thriving -- 18,594 polygons, 26,131 vertices, 3.86m tall. Peak health.
  3. Distressed -- 18,594 polygons, 26,021 vertices, 3.63m tall. Declining health with some diseased and broken foliage.
  4. Unhealthy -- 14,277 polygons, 20,925 vertices, 3.63m tall. Poor state with considerable foliage missing or diseased.
  5. Dying -- 10,632 polygons, 14,872 vertices, 3.63m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  6. Dead -- 9,992 polygons, 13,220 vertices, 2.66m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  7. Ancient -- 26,083 polygons, 40,543 vertices, 4.04m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
  8. Young -- 15,035 polygons, 21,808 vertices, 2.98m tall. Smaller plant, fully mature but still growing.
  9. Growing -- 4,296 polygons, 7,876 vertices, 1.7m tall. Plant not yet mature, some half way through its growing cycle.
  10. Immature -- 934 polygons, 2,138 vertices, 74.87cm tall. Very small and young plant.
  11. Forming -- 225 polygons, 240 vertices, 32.96cm tall. Extremely young and small but taking on its adult shape with fiddleheads unfurling
  12. Fiddleheads -- 405 polygons, 818 vertices, 21.52cm tall. Extremely young with its fronds still to unfurl.

Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k can also be downloaded.

EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
