EVERYPlant Medullosa Noei 4 LowPoly --12 Models-- Low-poly 3D model

Description

Name: Medullosa Noei

Period: Carboniferous-Early Permian. 320-293.5 Million Years Ago.

This Variation: 4 of 5. This is a LowPoly Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.

Notes: Extinct plant from the Carboniferous to the Permian Period. It appears to have preferred floodplains and swampy ground where it grew in the prehistoric forest sub-story. These plants were small to medium-sized trees with fern-like fronds for leaves. It has no living counterpart today though superficially it resembled a modern day tree-fern. This plant is noted for having very large seeds; this, along with the size of its pollen, has suggested to some scientists that some form of animal interventions was required to fertile and disperse the seeds. If so, then this is the earliest known instance of a plant-animal symbiosis. Fossils have been found in North America, Europe, parts of Asia and Oceania suggesting this plant had a wide range.

Included in this Package: 12 models in total

  1. Standard -- 14,523 polygons, 21,771 vertices, 3.75m tall. Fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
  2. Thriving -- 14,549 polygons, 21,849 vertices, 3.75m tall. Peak health.
  3. Distressed -- 14,158 polygons, 20,917 vertices, 3.75m tall. Declining health with some diseased and broken foliage.
  4. Unhealthy -- 10,821 polygons, 16,646 vertices, 3.6m tall. Poor state with considerable foliage missing or diseased.
  5. Dying -- 10,036 polygons, 14,688 vertices, 3.43m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  6. Dead -- 8,685 polygons, 11,616 vertices, 2.62m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  7. Ancient -- 18,680 polygons, 30,017 vertices, 4.15m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
  8. Young -- 11,473 polygons, 18,168 vertices, 2.92m tall. Smaller plant, fully mature but still growing.
  9. Growing -- 3,925 polygons, 7,262 vertices, 1.74m tall. Plant not yet mature, some half way through its growing cycle.
  10. Immature -- 992 polygons, 2,288 vertices, 83.66cm tall. Very small and young plant.
  11. Forming -- 225 polygons, 240 vertices, 35.1cm tall. Extremely young and small but taking on its adult shape with fiddleheads unfurling
  12. Fiddleheads -- 405 polygons, 811 vertices, 28.57cm tall. Extremely young with its fronds still to unfurl.

Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k can also be downloaded.
