Description

Name: Common Bamboo

Scientific: Bambusa vulgaris

A.K.A.: Golden Bamboo, Bamboo

This Variation: 2 of 5. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.

Notes: An open-clump type bamboo species that is native to Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, and to the province of Yunnan in southern China, but it has been widely cultivated in many other places and has become naturalized in several regions. Among bamboo species, it is one of the largest and most easily recognized. It grows mostly on river banks, road sides, wastelands, and open ground, generally in the low altitudes. It is a preferred species for erosion control. This plant is the most widely grown bamboo throughout the tropics and subtropics.

Included in this Package: 14 models in total

  1. Standard -- 16,361 polygons, 23,332 vertices, 22.29m tall. Fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
  2. Thriving -- 16,476 polygons, 23,516 vertices, 22.29m tall. Peak health.
  3. Distressed -- 17,678 polygons, 25,338 vertices, 22.28m tall. Declining health with some diseased and broken foliage.
  4. Unhealthy -- 16,579 polygons, 23,207 vertices, 22.12m tall. Poor state with considerable foliage missing or diseased.
  5. Dying -- 11,286 polygons, 14,788 vertices, 21.14m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  6. Dead -- 5,887 polygons, 6,962 vertices, 20.85m tall. Showing only broken and dead foliage.
  7. Ancient -- 16,745 polygons, 23,271 vertices, 24.99m tall. Very old plant, larger than usual.
  8. Young -- 15,793 polygons, 22,714 vertices, 17.13m tall. Smaller plant, fully mature but still growing.
  9. Growing -- 8,114 polygons, 11,815 vertices, 9.84m tall. Plant not yet mature, some half way through its growing cycle.
  10. Immature -- 1,216 polygons, 1,801 vertices, 2.54m tall. Very small and young plant.
  11. Seedling -- 604 polygons, 928 vertices, 73.53cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
  12. Single Plant -- 1,944 polygons, 2,884 vertices, 18.99m tall. One plant only.
  13. Smaller Patch -- 8,681 polygons, 12,260 vertices, 23.22m tall. A small patch containing a few plants.
  14. Larger Patch -- 33,724 polygons, 48,144 vertices, 22.29m tall. A large patch with many plants.

Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k can also be downloaded.
