Cleistocactus Sepium: Muyasa
Muyusa is a spiny, succulent shrub producing a single, unbranched stem up to 5 ft tall. It is native to Ecuador, and the edible fruit is gathered from the wild and eaten locally. Cleistocactus sepium has red tubular flowers which flare out at the mouth, making a brilliant display. The round fruits start out green, yellowing as they mature.
