Description
Name: Spur Mahogany LowPoly
Scientific: Dysoxylum pettigrewianum
This Variation: 4 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: A large tree in the family Meliaceae. It is native to the rainforests of Malesia, Papuasia and Queensland. In Queensland it occurs only in a small part of the northeast coast. It may reach in excess of 35m tall. It is known for its tall, branched and wandering buttress roots. The timber is a hardwood and is red/brown in colour. It is used as a general purpose and cabinet timber. It was once popular for boat building. The fruits are eaten by cassowaries, who swallow the entire fruit, and by metallic starlings, who extract and swallow just the seeds.
Included in this Package: 16 models in total
-
Standard -- 17,558 polygons, 24,791 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 18,687 polygons, 26,787 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 13,793 polygons, 18,200 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 10,153 polygons, 12,212 vertices -- 32.32m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 7,085 polygons, 7,728 vertices -- 34.66m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 3,934 polygons, 4,309 vertices -- 17.83m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 13,205 polygons, 15,061 vertices -- 12.07m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 24,703 polygons, 32,337 vertices -- 44.66m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 12,579 polygons, 19,534 vertices -- 24.07m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 1,848 polygons, 3,140 vertices -- 8.05m tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 429 polygons, 1,077 vertices -- 49.06cm tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 6,895 polygons, 13,042 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 52,093 polygons, 62,758 vertices -- 34.78m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 20,705 polygons, 29,801 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 33,433 polygons, 24,851 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 11,936 polygons, 18,764 vertices -- 34.78m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
