Description
Name: Spur Mahogany LowPoly
Scientific: Dysoxylum pettigrewianum
This Variation: 3 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: A large tree in the family Meliaceae. It is native to the rainforests of Malesia, Papuasia and Queensland. In Queensland it occurs only in a small part of the northeast coast. It may reach in excess of 35m tall. It is known for its tall, branched and wandering buttress roots. The timber is a hardwood and is red/brown in colour. It is used as a general purpose and cabinet timber. It was once popular for boat building. The fruits are eaten by cassowaries, who swallow the entire fruit, and by metallic starlings, who extract and swallow just the seeds.
Included in this Package: 16 models in total
-
Standard -- 21,317 polygons, 27,053 vertices -- 41.79m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 21,949 polygons, 28,142 vertices -- 41.79m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 18,295 polygons, 22,030 vertices -- 41.83m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 15,586 polygons, 17,326 vertices -- 41.57m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 14,204 polygons, 15,207 vertices -- 41.06m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 8,070 polygons, 8,477 vertices -- 14.23m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 21,428 polygons, 23,427 vertices -- 21.59m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 29,967 polygons, 36,225 vertices -- 50.03m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 10,799 polygons, 15,124 vertices -- 30.67m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 1,254 polygons, 2,070 vertices -- 9.93m tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 367 polygons, 944 vertices -- 75.89cm tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 5,651 polygons, 10,325 vertices -- 41.79m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 63,460 polygons, 72,224 vertices -- 41.79m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 21,883 polygons, 29,107 vertices -- 41.79m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 41,260 polygons, 27,078 vertices -- 41.79m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 10,185 polygons, 15,428 vertices -- 41.79m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
