Name: River Redgum

Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis

A.K.A.: River Red Gum, Murray Redgum, Blue Gum, Cape-York-Red-Gum

This Variation: 3 of 5. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.

Notes: This is an iconic Australian tree and the most abundant on the continent. It is widespread throughout the continent, especially beside inland water courses, whether alongside permanent water-sources, or seasonal. It can very quickly grow to 30-45m. The tree is often extremely gnarled when it grows next to a poor or intermittent water source and is considerably straighter when it has access to constant water. It is a very popular plantation species that is grown the world over. In many countries, it has escaped into the wild, where it is a prolific invasive species. The tree has been unintentionally introduced to North America, Europe and Asia.

  1. Standard -- 23,631 polygons, 34,899 vertices, 31.13m tall. Fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
  2. Thriving -- 28,346 polygons, 42,095 vertices, 31.13m tall. Peak health.
  3. Distressed -- 20,396 polygons, 29,446 vertices, 31.13m tall. Declining health with some diseased and broken foliage.
  4. Unhealthy -- 15,816 polygons, 22,511 vertices, 30.69m tall. Poor state with considerable foliage missing or diseased.
  5. Dying -- 12,421 polygons, 17,427 vertices, 30.69m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  6. Dead -- 10,152 polygons, 14,232 vertices, 30.75m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  7. Ancient -- 20,852 polygons, 30,373 vertices, 31.47m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
  8. Young -- 7,987 polygons, 12,217 vertices, 21.54m tall. Smaller plant, fully mature but still growing.
  9. Growing -- 3,764 polygons, 6,350 vertices, 14.8m tall. Plant not yet mature, some half way through its growing cycle.
  10. Immature -- 619 polygons, 1,188 vertices, 5.38m tall. Very small and young plant.
  11. Forming -- 123 polygons, 245 vertices, 1.83m tall. Extremely young and small but taking on its adult shape.
  12. Sapling -- 95 polygons, 187 vertices, 62.52cm tall. Recently sprouted.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k can also be downloaded.
