Notes: This plant is an early form of cycad which appeared at the beginning of the Permian period (298.9 million years ago) and lasted all the way through the dinosaur period, going extinct towards the end of the Cretaceous period (66 million years). This means the species survived multiple extinction events. It had many similarities with modern cycads, differing mainly on a microscopic biological level.

7. Ancient -- 120,571 polygons, 157,181 vertices -- 3.02m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
8. Young -- 80,373 polygons, 107,114 vertices -- 1.68m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
9. Immature -- 28,917 polygons, 41,009 vertices -- 1.18m tall. Very small and young plant.
10. Seedling -- 18,849 polygons, 28,440 vertices -- 73.65cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
11. Lower Poly -- 17,086 polygons, 33,643 vertices -- 2.81m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
