Notes: This plant is an early form of cycad which appeared at the beginning of the Permian period (298.9 million years ago) and lasted all the way through the dinosaur period, going extinct towards the end of the Cretaceous period (66 million years). This means the species survived multiple extinction events. It had many similarities with modern cycads, differing mainly on a microscopic biological level.

7. Ancient -- 106,291 polygons, 133,450 vertices -- 3.5m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
8. Young -- 73,178 polygons, 94,377 vertices -- 1.81m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
9. Immature -- 24,524 polygons, 32,544 vertices -- 1.29m tall. Very small and young plant.
10. Seedling -- 19,183 polygons, 28,796 vertices -- 86.24cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
11. Lower Poly -- 13,644 polygons, 25,400 vertices -- 3.25m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
