Description
Name: Indian Rubber Tree LowPoly
Scientific: Ficus elastica
This Variation: 3 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: A large tree in the banyan group of figs, growing to 30–40m typically and occassionally to 60m. The trunk develops aerial and buttressing roots to anchor it in the soil and help support heavy branches. All parts of the plant contain an abundant milky white latex, which has been tested for use in the manufacture of rubber, but without economic and technical results. It is native to eastern parts of South and Southeast Asia and has become naturalized in Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and Florida. It has since been introduced to many other tropical and sub-tropical areas. It is grown as an ornamental the world over.
Included in this Package: 16 models in total
-
Standard -- 29,271 polygons, 35,708 vertices -- 48.08m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 30,087 polygons, 37,118 vertices -- 48.08m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 26,214 polygons, 30,674 vertices -- 47.77m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 23,197 polygons, 25,561 vertices -- 46.6m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 22,105 polygons, 23,804 vertices -- 44.99m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 14,125 polygons, 14,852 vertices -- 18.55m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 31,041 polygons, 33,810 vertices -- 28.03m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 48,579 polygons, 55,918 vertices -- 57.2m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 13,797 polygons, 18,581 vertices -- 37.03m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 1,558 polygons, 2,543 vertices -- 14.9m tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 202 polygons, 297 vertices -- 2.03m tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 6,769 polygons, 11,575 vertices -- 48.08m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 119,390 polygons, 130,562 vertices -- 48.08m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 35,874 polygons, 43,866 vertices -- 48.08m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 57,075 polygons, 35,530 vertices -- 48.08m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 8,479 polygons, 13,225 vertices -- 48.08m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
