Description
Name: Indian Rubber Tree LowPoly
Scientific: Ficus elastica
This Variation: 2 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: A large tree in the banyan group of figs, growing to 30–40m typically and occassionally to 60m. The trunk develops aerial and buttressing roots to anchor it in the soil and help support heavy branches. All parts of the plant contain an abundant milky white latex, which has been tested for use in the manufacture of rubber, but without economic and technical results. It is native to eastern parts of South and Southeast Asia and has become naturalized in Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and Florida. It has since been introduced to many other tropical and sub-tropical areas. It is grown as an ornamental the world over.
Included in this Package: 16 models in total
-
Standard -- 44,536 polygons, 54,892 vertices -- 42.51m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 45,497 polygons, 56,413 vertices -- 42.51m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 37,709 polygons, 44,186 vertices -- 42.69m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 33,800 polygons, 37,768 vertices -- 43.26m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 29,982 polygons, 32,414 vertices -- 43.36m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 19,933 polygons, 21,334 vertices -- 26.39m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 36,807 polygons, 40,253 vertices -- 21.23m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 76,142 polygons, 88,643 vertices -- 55.24m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 21,335 polygons, 29,275 vertices -- 33.43m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 2,192 polygons, 3,527 vertices -- 13.19m tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 425 polygons, 676 vertices -- 1.92m tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 10,873 polygons, 18,727 vertices -- 42.51m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 165,656 polygons, 183,368 vertices -- 42.51m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 52,173 polygons, 64,961 vertices -- 42.51m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 86,831 polygons, 54,737 vertices -- 42.51m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 13,453 polygons, 21,177 vertices -- 42.57m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
