Description
Name: Indian Rubber Tree LowPoly
Scientific: Ficus elastica
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: A large tree in the banyan group of figs, growing to 30–40m typically and occassionally to 60m. The trunk develops aerial and buttressing roots to anchor it in the soil and help support heavy branches. All parts of the plant contain an abundant milky white latex, which has been tested for use in the manufacture of rubber, but without economic and technical results. It is native to eastern parts of South and Southeast Asia and has become naturalized in Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and Florida. It has since been introduced to many other tropical and sub-tropical areas. It is grown as an ornamental the world over.
Included in this Package: 16 models in total
-
Standard -- 28,123 polygons, 35,796 vertices -- 38m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 28,996 polygons, 37,261 vertices -- 38m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 24,782 polygons, 30,238 vertices -- 38m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 20,959 polygons, 24,057 vertices -- 38.86m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 18,884 polygons, 20,646 vertices -- 38.16m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
-
Stump -- 7,251 polygons, 7,839 vertices -- 5.02m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
-
Uprooted -- 27,256 polygons, 30,149 vertices -- 16.22m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
-
Ancient -- 34,750 polygons, 42,758 vertices -- 39.99m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
-
Young -- 15,278 polygons, 21,272 vertices -- 29.71m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 1,785 polygons, 2,874 vertices -- 12.84m tall. Very small and young plant.
-
Sapling -- 303 polygons, 526 vertices -- 2.1m tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 7,986 polygons, 13,995 vertices -- 38m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 101,033 polygons, 113,522 vertices -- 38m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 32,118 polygons, 41,585 vertices -- 38m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 54,383 polygons, 35,624 vertices -- 38m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 9,904 polygons, 15,861 vertices -- 38m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
