Name: Bjuvia Cycad LowPoly

Scientific: Bjuvia simplex

This Variation: 4 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.

Notes: An extinct cycad that existed in the Permian and Triassic periods. Unlike modern cycads, it had a simple leaf pattern. In the Permian arid climate, Bjuvia and all archaic cycadales, could find more room to live as the plants of humid environments died out. Bjuvia went extinct in the late Triassic in favour of more complex cycadeoids.

  4. Dying -- 3,777 polygons, 4,688 vertices -- 7.21m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  5. Dead -- 2,435 polygons, 3,155 vertices -- 7.2m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  6. Uprooted -- 8,418 polygons, 9,359 vertices -- 5.38m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
  7. Ancient -- 5,787 polygons, 7,058 vertices -- 8m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
  8. Young -- 3,775 polygons, 4,779 vertices -- 3.73m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
  9. Immature -- 842 polygons, 1,139 vertices -- 2.01m tall. Very small and young plant.
  10. Seedling -- 172 polygons, 268 vertices -- 1.14m tall. Recently sprouted.
  11. Lower Poly -- 1,524 polygons, 2,096 vertices -- 7.34m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  12. Higher Poly -- 22,419 polygons, 25,625 vertices -- 7.34m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
