Name: Bjuvia Cycad

Scientific: Bjuvia simplex

This Variation: 3 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.

Notes: An extinct cycad that existed in the Permian and Triassic periods. Unlike modern cycads, it had a simple leaf pattern. In the Permian arid climate, Bjuvia and all archaic cycadales, could find more room to live as the plants of humid environments died out. Bjuvia went extinct in the late Triassic in favour of more complex cycadeoids.

  4. Dying -- 119,333 polygons, 144,245 vertices -- 8.86m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  5. Dead -- 106,019 polygons, 128,124 vertices -- 8.64m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  6. Uprooted -- 135,669 polygons, 161,469 vertices -- 2.95m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
  7. Ancient -- 147,776 polygons, 178,317 vertices -- 10.02m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
  8. Young -- 82,427 polygons, 100,270 vertices -- 4.09m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
  9. Immature -- 15,936 polygons, 19,535 vertices -- 1.93m tall. Very small and young plant.
  10. Seedling -- 5,518 polygons, 7,061 vertices -- 1.15m tall. Recently sprouted.
  11. Lower Poly -- 11,639 polygons, 15,122 vertices -- 9.22m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  12. Higher Poly -- 489,550 polygons, 559,598 vertices -- 9.22m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
