EVERYPlant Australian Fan Palm 3 --16 Models-- 3D model

Description

Name: Australian Fan Palm

Scientific: Licuala ramsayi

This Variation: 3 of 4. _This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.

Notes: A distinctive palm with a single trunk to 16m. It has large, pleated, circular leaves up to 2m in diameter. The fruits are a red drupe containing a single seed. It is endemic to northeastern Queensland, Australia where it grows in swamps, along riverbanks, and in rainforests. In favourable conditions it may dominate small areas, forming a fan palm forest. Trees provided an edible cabbage to Aboriginals, as well as thatch, food wrapping, and cigarette papers (from young leaves). Fruits are eaten by cassowaries.

Included in this Package: 16 models in total

  1. Standard -- 211,388 polygons, 224,475 vertices -- 16.18m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
  2. Thriving -- 211,297 polygons, 224,314 vertices -- 16.18m tall. Peak health.
  3. Unhealthy -- 172,295 polygons, 180,574 vertices -- 16.46m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
  4. Dying -- 97,337 polygons, 96,589 vertices -- 15.91m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
  5. Dead -- 96,098 polygons, 94,637 vertices -- 15.74m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage.
  6. Stump -- 445 polygons, 449 vertices -- 1.15m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing.
  7. Uprooted -- 129,522 polygons, 131,852 vertices -- 4.55m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side.
  8. Ancient -- 212,196 polygons, 225,313 vertices -- 17.58m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled.
  9. Young -- 80,060 polygons, 82,013 vertices -- 7.36m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle.
  10. Immature -- 54,383 polygons, 57,030 vertices -- 2.55m tall. Very small and young plant.
  11. Sapling -- 33,859 polygons, 35,363 vertices -- 51.42cm tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves.
  12. Lower Poly -- 41,015 polygons, 45,754 vertices -- 16.18m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  13. Higher Poly -- 419,140 polygons, 443,420 vertices -- 16.18m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  14. Quads -- 164,569 polygons, 202,164 vertices -- 16.18m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  15. Triangles -- 335,230 polygons, 201,997 vertices -- 16.18m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
  16. Uniform Mesh -- 315,462 polygons, 341,963 vertices -- 16.18m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).

Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.

The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.

EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
