Cyperus Conglomeratus: Dune GrassCyperus Conglomeratus is a species of sedge native to Africa, southern and central Europe (north to France and Austria), and southern Asia. It is a perennial plant that can reach up to heights of 55 inches. It prefers dry conditions, but will tolerate moist soils, and often grows in wastelands and in crop fields. These tubers have antibacterial properties that have been known to prevent tooth decay in ancient Sudanese populations who consumed them. It is also used in traditional chinese and indian medicine traditions.
