IIntroduced 2015, ‘Prairie fire’ is part of the Colorgrass series from Hoffman Nursery. It is distinguished by its slender fire-orange foliage, evergreen with a bushy habit. In full sun, the orange of the foliage is accentuated and gives a punch of color. Green, brown-orange inflorescences grow in July until autumn. Plant from March to June. Requires well-drained, rocky soil.
