Description
Name: Cheatgrass LowPoly
Scientific: Bromus tectorum
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: Though native to Eurasia, this is one of the mosy invasive weeds known, and has colonised virtually the entire world. It grows in many different climates and in almost any type of soil. In the eastern US this plant is common along roadsides and as a crop weed, further, it has become a dominant species in the Intermountain West and parts of Canada, and displays especially invasive behavior in the sagebrush steppe ecosystems of the Great Basin. The plant often enters a site in an area that has been disturbed, and then quickly expands into the surrounding area through its rapid growth and prolific seed production.
Included in this Package: 18 models in total
-
Standard -- 10,752 polygons, 11,180 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. A medium patch of plants that are mature and in relative health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 10,739 polygons, 11,159 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 6,956 polygons, 7,358 vertices -- 73.44m tall. Relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 2,225 polygons, 2,547 vertices -- 60.55cm tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 870 polygons, 1,187 vertices -- 59.16cm tall. Showing only dead foliage.
-
Ancient -- 11,751 polygons, 12,156 vertices -- 98.56cm tall. An old plant, taller than usual.
-
Young -- 6,224 polygons, 6,536 vertices -- 47.71cm tall. Smaller plant some half way through its maturing cycle.
-
Immature -- 371 polygons, 576 vertices -- 26.61cm tall. Plant is small and hasn't reached its mature aspect.
-
Seedling -- 251 polygons, 362 vertices -- 13.32cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
-
Single Plant -- 952 polygons, 984 vertices -- 65.39cm tall. Just one plant, isolated.
-
Smaller Patch -- 5,918 polygons, 6,121 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. A small patch containing a few plants.
-
Larger Patch -- 19,215 polygons, 20,033 vertices -- 93.88cm tall. A large patch with many plants.
-
Huge Patch -- 41,999 polygons, 43,992 vertices -- 93.88cm tall. A very large patch with a large abundance of plants.
-
Lower Poly -- 9,415 polygons, 9,636 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. Standard model with fewer polys to save system resources. Intended for mid or distant renders.
-
Higher Poly -- 13,760 polygons, 14,023 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. Standard model with more polys for greater detail. Intended for close-up renders.
-
Quads -- 11,699 polygons, 15,577 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 14,643 polygons, 10,073 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 17,971 polygons, 12,068 vertices -- 79.57cm tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded.
EVERYPlant has a mission ... which is to model every plant species in the world (plus some extinct, fantasy and sci-fi variations as well)! Okay, maybe not every plant! If you don't see it in our store, please get in contact; we have thousands of species on file awaiting upload.
