Description

These plants are created by the very experienced modeler Konstantin Kim and sold exclusively by Xfrog. Kim (aka 3d Mentor) works in 3ds max GrowFX, and sets up shaders for Corona, VRay, and FStorm. ALL plants, for the first time EVER, have GrowFX (gfx) files included, and WIND, and all models and wind can be procedurally edited! Polycounts range from 100k to 600k. Download includes one model.

Rhododendron Japonicum: Japanese AzaleaRhododendron Japonicum is a flowering shrub growing up to 6 ft in height, native to Japan. Flowering from April to May, the species has both male and female organs and grows in very acidic, moist soils. The flowers tend to be a vibrant red, orange, or coral hue, which was achieved through selective cultivation. It has also long been grown as a bonsai under its more specific Satsuki and kurume varieties. It is also different from other azaleas in that it is an evergreen, only losing its leaves in strong frost spells.
