Description
Name: Native Ginger LowPoly
Scientific: Alpinia caerulea
This Variation: 3 of 4. This is a Low Poly model. A High Poly version is also available.
Notes: This plant grows in rainforest, gallery forest and wet sclerophyll forest in eastern Australia. The plant has large arching stalks, each carries a number of large alternately arranged leaves. The inflorescence is terminal on the stalks, and contains numerous white flowers which occur from September to April. The fruit is a capsule which ripen in any month. The fruits are popular with a variety of birds including brush turkeys southern cassowaries, crimson rosellas, and many more. For the Kuku Yalanji people of far northern Queensland, this plant had many uses – the fruit and rhizomes were eaten, the leaves were used to cover their shelters and to wrap meat when cooking in earth ovens.
Included in this Package: 15 models in total
-
Standard -- 4,823 polygons, 7,369 vertices -- 2.23m tall. A flowering plant that is fully mature and in relative health. Useable in most scenes and applications.
-
Thriving -- 4,892 polygons, 7,461 vertices -- 2.23m tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 4,362 polygons, 6,589 vertices -- 2.12m tall. Relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 2,838 polygons, 4,161 vertices -- 1.41m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 1,689 polygons, 2,473 vertices -- 76.63cm tall. Showing only dead foliage.
-
Fruiting, Green -- 5,220 polygons, 6,111 vertices -- 2.25m tall. Plant is past its flowering stage and has lost its petals. The flowerheads have become fruit. Fruit are still ripening.
-
Fruiting, Ripe -- 5,220 polygons, 6,111 vertices -- 2.25m tall. Plant is past its flowering stage and has lost its petals. The flowerheads have become fruit. Fruit are ripe.
-
Budding -- 3,221 polygons, 4,358 vertices -- 1.97m tall. Plant is in the pre-flowering stage.
-
Vegetative -- 777 polygons, 1,251 vertices -- 1.03m tall. Young plant still growing. It hasn't developed flower buds yet.
-
Seedling -- 189 polygons, 302 vertices -- 26.94cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
-
Lower Poly -- 3,195 polygons, 5,157 vertices -- 2.23m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 6,470 polygons, 9,521 vertices -- 2.23m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 5,294 polygons, 8,816 vertices -- 2.23m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 8,446 polygons, 7,351 vertices -- 2.23m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 8,197 polygons, 11,233 vertices -- 2.23m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
