Description
Name: Arrowleaf Balsamroot
Scientific: Balsamorhiza sagittata
This Variation: 2 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.
Notes: A North American species of flowering plant known by the common name Arrowleaf Balsamroot (also sometimes called Oregon sunflower). It is widespread across western Canada and much of the western United States. The plant's native range extends from British Columbia and Alberta in the north, southward as far as northern Arizona and the Mojave Desert of California, and as far east as the Black Hills of South Dakota. It grows in many types of habitat from mountain forests to grassland to desert scrub. It is drought tolerant. Grazing animals find the plant palatable, especially the flowers and developing seed heads.
Included in this Package: 18 models in total
-
Standard -- 187,678 polygons, 233,894 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 185,771 polygons, 231,759 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 107,623 polygons, 133,100 vertices -- 55.5cm tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 38,905 polygons, 47,398 vertices -- 51.13cm tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 15,583 polygons, 18,008 vertices -- 32.26cm tall. Showing only dead foliage.
-
Seeding -- 104,803 polygons, 125,619 vertices -- 68.36cm tall. Plant is past its flowering stage and has lost its petals. The flowerheads have become capsules containing seeds.
-
Budding -- 43,762 polygons, 54,440 vertices -- 29.01cm tall. Plant is in the pre-flowering stage.
-
Vegetative -- 6,931 polygons, 9,276 vertices -- 13.15cm tall. Young plant still growing. It hasn't developed flower buds yet.
-
Seedling -- 1,076 polygons, 1,210 vertices -- 9.1cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
-
Single Plant -- 29,786 polygons, 37,679 vertices -- 47.95cm tall. Just one plant, isolated.
-
Smaller Patch -- 94,677 polygons, 118,272 vertices -- 51.97cm tall. A small patch containg a few plants.
-
Larger Patch -- 302,901 polygons, 376,719 vertices -- 56.51cm tall. A large patch with many plants.
-
Huge Patch -- 536,358 polygons, 666,207 vertices -- 59.09cm tall. A very large patch with a large abundance of plants.
-
Lower Poly -- 35,057 polygons, 55,187 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 499,435 polygons, 576,660 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 183,522 polygons, 241,702 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 365,009 polygons, 235,522 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 1,074,661 polygons, 1,138,801 vertices -- 55.56cm tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
