Description
Name: Arrowleaf Balsamroot
Scientific: Balsamorhiza sagittata
This Variation: 1 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available.
Notes: A North American species of flowering plant known by the common name Arrowleaf Balsamroot (also sometimes called Oregon sunflower). It is widespread across western Canada and much of the western United States. The plant's native range extends from British Columbia and Alberta in the north, southward as far as northern Arizona and the Mojave Desert of California, and as far east as the Black Hills of South Dakota. It grows in many types of habitat from mountain forests to grassland to desert scrub. It is drought tolerant. Grazing animals find the plant palatable, especially the flowers and developing seed heads.
Included in this Package: 18 models in total
-
Standard -- 121,983 polygons, 151,782 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes.
-
Thriving -- 121,289 polygons, 150,988 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Peak health.
-
Unhealthy -- 74,725 polygons, 92,494 vertices -- 59.67cm tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased.
-
Dying -- 36,848 polygons, 45,062 vertices -- 57.49cm tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage.
-
Dead -- 16,897 polygons, 19,468 vertices -- 30.65cm tall. Showing only dead foliage.
-
Seeding -- 67,672 polygons, 80,286 vertices -- 67.8cm tall. Plant is past its flowering stage and has lost its petals. The flowerheads have become capsules containing seeds.
-
Budding -- 29,698 polygons, 36,542 vertices -- 29.37cm tall. Plant is in the pre-flowering stage.
-
Vegetative -- 5,112 polygons, 6,704 vertices -- 13.76cm tall. Young plant still growing. It hasn't developed flower buds yet.
-
Seedling -- 657 polygons, 714 vertices -- 9.1cm tall. Very young plant just forming its first true leaves.
-
Single Plant -- 9,308 polygons, 11,710 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Just one plant, isolated.
-
Smaller Patch -- 67,876 polygons, 85,188 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. A small patch containg a few plants.
-
Larger Patch -- 209,100 polygons, 259,938 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. A large patch with many plants.
-
Huge Patch -- 503,394 polygons, 626,067 vertices -- 65.65cm tall. A very large patch with a large abundance of plants.
-
Lower Poly -- 22,772 polygons, 35,977 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Higher Poly -- 325,272 polygons, 375,407 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Quads -- 119,766 polygons, 157,265 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Triangles -- 237,357 polygons, 152,756 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
-
Uniform Mesh -- 745,338 polygons, 786,613 vertices -- 58.46cm tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge).
Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product.
The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
